No, these are not two young men in their prime, as much as we might wish they were. But these are the two choices we are faced with as Americans on Nov 5th.

Let’s look at the two men who are running for POTUS in 2024:

So, explain to me why you feel this choice is so difficult?

Hi everybody! I have been looking at posts on narcs and narc abuse on here and if has really helped me out a lot. I am currently struggling with my situation and need some advice/support. I met a narc last year, everything seemed to good to be true. Love bombing, always texting calling and taking me on dates. Everything changed when someone warned me about him out in public in front of him and who he is. This caused a conflict with us and the love bombing seized. he would tell me that everything is okay and i can come and talk. He would set a time limit on me and kick me out after that. he would then text me like everything was fine and we hung out again and after that he completely ghosted me for one week. He came back and texted me a week later laughing about the ghosting and acting like nothing had happened. he continued to text me ( not like in the beginning) make plans with me, then on the day of the plans he would just ghost me. One day he would act interested the next silence. i contacted him a month later and he acted like nothing happened. He was on a vacation and sent me a picture of another woman ( someone he allegedly met on the trip) to strike a reaction but i never gave him one. After the trip he came to my place and was extremely rude, accusing me of going on dates with a bunch of men. The next day he accused me of being an alcoholic and that he wanted nothing to do with me but said well maybe we can be "friends" then ghosted me i assumed at this point it was over and i would never hear from him again. He contacted me on the holiday a month later acting like everything was great. We ended up hanging out a month or so later and when we hung out it went well, i thought things were going in the right direction. after we hung out.. silence. I would try to text him and if he replied it would be very short then he just stopped replying. He ghosted me for almost three months. I thought he was done this time and of course he popped up again like nothing happened. At this point i was getting sick of if so i questioned him as to why he dissapeared and always does this. Of course he had some sob story about a injury and family member dying of cancer. I felt pity for him and he gave me an apology.. so i took him back stupidly. things seemed to be going smooth for a couple months, of course until his family member died and his injury got better he never contacted me and was distant. Menawhile, i was there for him during the difficult time for him. He lied to me about the funeral and never wanted to chat. I was chasing him and he would always claim nothing was wrong but when i said i thought he used me when he was down he could not handle it and would always tell me he didnt care and to go away. I would get so upset i would try texting him to work it out he would barelt respond and if he did he would not be nice about it. we did hang out a couple times after that, he would ignore me after. One day i was like hey i think you are seeing someone else, and i was like well ixam seeing someone so no problem if you are he said " buy bye good luck with your new guy stop contacting me" i was devastated and tried to get into contact with him for weeks then i just gave up and accepted it was over. He ended up contacting me a month later acting like everything was fine. He wanted to go out and have drinks i told him i would. He and i both seemed to have a great time. He ends up ignoring me again. I kept texting him trying to figure out what was wrong. He kept saying everything was fine and i said ok can we hang out again? He said maybe i was like why? He just kept saying maybe … our last conversation we had… i said what is wrong ? He said nothing is wrong everything is fine. I asked him why he keeps saying maybe. He said " maybe but i dont want to see you right now" i said why? He saix " im just not feeling it, if i wanted to date i would" i said why did you contact me less then a week ago wanting to go out? He said i didnt.. even though he did. So i said should i just move on or what? He said whatever you want to do. So i said that he was really confusing me and asked him if he had anything more to say before i move on? My messages were turning green so i panicked he blocked me and reacted irrationally. I said " omg did you block me? My messages are not going through. Even texted him on my work phone asking what was up. And called him twice ( please dont judge me i know it is pathetic i never was this type of girl before him) so he replied and said " Ok I'll block you now" then immedietly blocked me. He has never blocked me before since I have met him he will just ghost. Is this ths final discard aka " grand finale? Did i just push him too far? this has upset me so much its hard to even function.

Yes, one is a liar and a (convicted) criminal and many far worse attributes too numerous to mention here. He is relatively old, never exercises, is addicted to junk food, is morbidly obese, physically out of shape (despite what his “doctors” say) and has not only exhibited signs of cognitive impairment (no other reason he would have been asked to take a test for it) but has also repeatedly demonstrated his innate stupidity and lack of intellectual awareness. His professors at Wharton have publicly stated he was among the dumbest students they’ve ever taught. His clownish visage (accented by a ridiculous yellow-dyed coiffe and excessively applied orange makeup) is a testament to his vanity. For some reason, we cannot be allowed see his college transcripts, nor his tax returns (which he promised he would release before the 2016 election, as have every other US Presidential candidate since Nixon). He comes from money and though he inherited hundreds of millions from his father, he managed to lose it all on failed business deals, multiple bankruptcies, fraudulent organizations and bad loans, all while managing to leave his stakeholders holding the bag and screwing as many people as possible, including most of his employees and contractors. In an act of desperation, he managed to spin his failed business career into show business success. Suffice to say, his TV persona was a total fabrication and he convinced millions that it was real. He is the de-facto standard bearer for the party of “family values, yet he has cheated on all three of his wives, has engaged in (and been found guilty of) sexual assault with several women, has hung around with known pedophiles and publicly brags about his misogynistic and predatory exploits. In his first term, he kept none of his campaign promises (aside from lower taxes for the wealthy and ending Roe v Wade) , initiated damaging and divisive policies that left the US vulnerable in so many ways. Aside from the most sycophantic of his followers, the majority who have worked or dealt with Trump throughout his business, show business and political career (including his cabinet and other members of his administration) do not have many kind things to say about him-as the flurry of published books expressing severe disdain for him can attest to. He cozies up and capitulates to the world’s dictators, while denigrating and alienating our allies. He has made himself and the US Presidency a laughing stock on the world stage. His administration was by far the most corrupt of any in US history and dozens of his inner circle were indicted or convicted. Trump was impeached twice (the only President ever to have that distinction) and faces 91 criminal indictments, 34 of which he has already been found guilty of. He ran up more debt than all previous presidencies combined. His inflated ego and sense of victimhood led him to claim fraud in an election even before it was held. He then refused to accept his loss or engage in the peaceful transfer of power, ultimately using every possible means (both legal and illegal) to try to overturn the result, eventually inciting his rabid cult followers to an attack on the US Capitol while our leaders were engaged in discharging their duty. In short, he is egregiously corrupt, incompetent, racist, misogynistic, a pathological BS artists and bully, who lacks any empathy for his fellow human beings, is totally self-absorbed and simply put-a severely damaged human being neither worthy of nor well-suited to public office.

Biden is also older and showing some signs of slowing. However, he is in reasonably good shape, is a healthy weight, exercises regularly, eats a balanced diet (with an occasional ice-cream cone). There is no evidence that he is or has suffered from any cognitive decline. Though he has struggled with a life-long stuttering affliction which he has learned to cope with and effectively overcome. He trips on a phrase or two here and there (like every other politician). Biden is a long-time public servant and virtually everyone who has known him or worked with him during his long career have high praise for his integrity, empathy and resilience. He was a lawyer and a statesman for decades before elected to the role of VP of the United States and then to President , with one of the most successful administrations in the modern era. His administration began in the midst of a raging worldwide pandemic that claimed millions of lives and negatively impacted billions. He quickly acted to mitigate the worst economic and health effects, by helping to ease the economic strain of workers and families who were either furloughed, lost their jobs completely of had succumbed to COVID. He saw about widely distributing vaccines as soon as they were available. As the pandemic began to subside, he oversaw the swiftest and greatest recovery in US history, where we now have record low unemployment, record job growth, GDP growth & stock market growth. Inflation, caused primarily by supply demand issue resulting from the pandemic and felt worldwide have left many prices higher, though that was caused by neither Trump nor Biden. However, there are signs of prices gradually beginning to ease. Biden kept not only most of his campaign promises but many of Trumps unrealized ones as well: we got improvements to the highly successful ACA (Obamacare for you MAGA folks-that Trump failed to “repeal and replace with something far better” as he promised), He got the infrastructure bill passed that Trump also promised but failed to deliver. Biden not only continued construction on the wall, but finally DID get Mexico to pay for part of it (Mexico’s President told Trump to go pound sand). Also, despite the misleading RWM rhetoric-Biden not only didn’t stop drilling for oil, but there has been more oil and gas production on his watch than ever before (and record FF industry profits as well). Even with that, he has taken initiative to push forward on the green energy and climate agenda, accelerating America’s move towards a cleaner and more sustainable future-something no other president has ever had the political courage to do. He got the most sweeping gun safety legislation put through in over 40 years. He has been a staunch proponent for civil rights in general and LGBTQ rights in particular, while the other guy has done nothing but pander to the prejudices of the religious right by spreading xenophobic and homophobic vitriol.
